Allschool, founded in Singapore, is an online platform that connects independently contracted teachers with students aged 3 to 18. It offers a diverse range of classes, from one-time lessons to ongoing courses. You can teach 1:1 lessons, or small group classes.

Teachers on Allschool set their own rates, and the platform takes a commission on earnings. The majority of students fall in the 4 to 9 years age range, but there's flexibility to teach students up to 18 years old.

Teaching Opportunities

Allschool is flexible when it comes to scheduling. There are no minimum teaching hours required, and you can set your own price with no limits. The commission rate is 20-25% on each class (depending on whether you teach on Zoom, or Classpod. Classpod is Allschool's Zoom alternative).

Payments are made through bank/wire transfer and are issued seven days after a completed session. Additionally, if a student doesn't show up for a class and you remain in the class for at least 10 minutes, Allschool still compensates you.

These times are especially helpful for accommodating students in the eastern and western United States, as well as those in Beijing and Singapore.

Class Cancellation Policy

Allschool has a clear cancellation policy. Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the class start time. If a class doesn't reach the minimum number of learners you set, it will be automatically closed 12 hours before the class starts. You, as the teacher, will set the minimum number of student, and you can also choose whether or not the classes will automatically cancel 12 hours prior to class.

Tech Requirements

Allschool uses two different types of classroom technology: Classpod and Zoom. Make sure your technical setup meets the requirements, such as a stable internet connection and recommended devices.
