Teach at Classover

Sep 01, 2023

Classover is an online teaching company located in New York, although they market themselves to students living in China. With Classover, you'll be teaching children aged 4-12.

Updated Application Process

Previously, the application process for Classover went through a job search engine. However, the good news is that this has changed, and now, the application process is entirely streamlined through their website. To apply, all you need to do is upload your resume and complete the form available on their site.

Payment and Scheduling

Classover pays starting at $15 an hour. Payments are made on the 10th of each month through convenient methods like PayPal or Zelle. There are no minimum hourly requirements, allowing teachers to customize their schedules to fit their needs and availability.

A Diverse Range of Subjects

As an ESL teacher, you'll appreciate the variety of subjects that Classover offers. While the focus is on English language skills, you have the opportunity to teach public speaking, creative writing, and more. This diverse array of subjects caters to a wide range of interests and talents, ensuring that both teachers and students are engaged and motivated.

Curriculum

Classover provides the curriculum, making lesson planning more manageable for teachers. This resource ensures that you can focus on what you do best – teaching – while still delivering high-quality education to your students.

Updated Requirements?

Previously, Classover stated that a teaching degree was a requirement for applicants. However, it's worth noting that this requirement is no longer stated on their website. Therefore, if you are passionate about teaching and have relevant experience, it's worth exploring opportunities with Classover even if you don't hold a teaching degree.

Although the application process has changed, here's an old video I did on Classover!
